My 9th through 12th grade high school students are an imaginative and motivated mix of individuals who can't wait to sink their hands into clay. Their cultural heritage and backgrounds vary. Blended together in a class, they make a rich and fascinating bunch of kids. They've started designing their birds in action and are ready to start building their sculptures. I have special education students and English Language Learners along with a variety of students with varying abilities. Most of my students have never taken an art class before! We can't wait to get started!
