I prioritize seeing and supporting each diverse and distinct young scholar, with each of their unique identities, learning differences, and sets of circumstances. I have taught all high school grades, and currently teach mostly 11th and 12th graders. I'm passionate about pairing students with texts in which they can see themselves and through which they can expand their understanding of themselves and the world. In doing so, I support students as they build both their literacy and their capacity to change the world for the better.
