The materials I have requested will help in two ways. They will allow my students to have access to guided learning lessons with me instead of at a desktop and will also enable them to work independently on assigned activities if desktop computers are not available. With the tablets I have requested, I will be able to teach decoding and fluency lessons while students are at their desk and have them follow along, be interactive, and provide on demand instruction with immediate corrective feedback. This accessibility will allow the lessons to be more effective than sending them away from me to complete a lesson without the guidance they need.
