This project will help me create a print-rich environment for my eager learners where they will have access to amazing books in Spanish. As a second year teacher at a Tile I school, my class library is still growing. My students love reading on the carpet with me, reading with a buddy and reading independently. This project can help me provide enough books for each student to use daily. Every book that is placed in our library is handled with extreme care and respect. The students are so grateful for the few books we already have. For this project, each book was chosen with my little learners in mind. From books about being different to managing our feelings, each student will find something they love. With these new books, my kindergarteners will be choose stories that are special to them and help grow their love for reading. I want my kiddos to be as excited as I am when I pick up a new book! The best way to foster a love for reading is to provide my students with access to amazing books in our classroom. These books will continue to help my students grow and learn. I am so inspired by my students' eagerness to learn, help me give them the materials they need to grow as readers.
