Through this recent pandemic my students have had to learn a new way of learning as I have learned a new way of teaching. Having access to Chromebooks to learn and complete an array of tasks is rewarding, challenging, and invigorating all at the same time. My students would benefit from using Chromebooks daily in our classroom to access supplemental educational programs, to enhance their ability to collaborate with others, and prepare them for the high demands of the digital world and future workforce. Some programs used are but not limited to Think Central: Go Math, Edulastic, Google Classroom, Google Docs & forms, Khan Academy, Brainpop. Chromebooks will help my students learn a variety of content through multiple means of application. Everything will be available to them at their fingertips both in the classroom and our virtual classroom as needed. Currently we are in the unknown and if this continues, although it is not ideal to not be in our classroom, Chromebooks will allow all my students to be connected and plugged in without worries. My students love using all that computers have to offer them and using technology will help them learn by integrating our curriculum with online resources and continuous feedback. The Chromebooks will be used daily by my students and will become vital resources in our classroom. The Chromebooks will allow for the differentiation of classroom instruction, will allow me to better support my students' individual needs, and will open up to many cooperative projects/tasks. These Chromebooks will allow my students to be actively engaged and will help them become knowledgeable in a technological world.
