With the world the way it is, I want students to be able to be apart of the important conversations we’re having in some way. Students can read these books or it can be read to them and conversations about equality, fairness, kindness, compassion, empathy and so many other things can sprout. Just because these are kindergarteners doesn’t mean they haven’t seen or heard about the world right now to an extent. These students are wise and will grow to become great thinkers in many important topics. It all starts with a good conversation which comes from a great book. So help me give these students an opportunity to thrive.
