"All in for Second Grade" is a project that will benefit so many second grade students in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are a part of a Title I school with extremely low funding and where a majority of the students are living in poverty. I am requesting math manipulatives - ten frames, place value flip stand, magnetic coins and more - and books. I teach mainly math and using manipulatives will greatly enhance their learning experience. This is my first year teaching and I want to make such a big difference in the lives of these students, despite what may be going on at home for them. I want them to know that school is a time to meet each of their individual goals and dreams. They can achieve so much with a valuable and enriched education and your donations will truly make such a big difference in the lives of these students. Many of my students typically come into the building without basic necessities. Please know that any of your donations are going to change their lives.
