My students are growing up in a high poverty area of Missouri, where most of them live in a single parent home. They have a thirst for knowledge and a desire to be successful. Unfortunately, due to limited resources (at the school and their individual homes)and challenges beyond their control, many students find it to be a struggle to stay on pace. Even with all these distractions going on in their lives, they still manage to come to class with a positive attitude and a hunger for learning!

About my class
