Supplies purchased will be utilized to help students with aggressive behaviors and self-stimulatory behaviors desensitize. This will help students focus more during learning periods. I currently have several students that engage in stimming behaviors and are in need of materials to help build language expansions. Majority of the students have not been around peers or outside of their homes prior to this school year since the onset on the Covid-19 pandemic. For special education students, this unfortunately leads to regression in their social and community skills. We will utilize funding to create fundraiser opportunity that will help students gain financial literacy. As well as actively post on donors choose. We would also love to update our donors with pictures of experiences out in the community, as well as utilize this opportunity to inform the community of the life skills program and special education advocacy!
