I am a special educator at a public Montessori school. The students I service range from kindergarten through 8th grade. I work with individual students and small groups of students in order to support their learning. Because our school is a public Montessori, teachers are tasked with integrating public school requirements with traditional Montessori methods. Our diverse school community is tight knit and works together to meet the needs of all students. Our students are encouraged to be independent learners and life-long learners. Each day, students are exposed to a variety of learning opportunities like Spanish, band, art, Talented and Gifted programs, and an wide selection of after school clubs/learning opportunities.
