In my classroom photo, my students at Kennedy High applied for grants at the Potential Project to lead projects that addressed district goals for school performance and climate. Some supported their athletic teams, others provided breakfasts for students during standardized tests, and another group educated teachers about how to support ESL students. --------------------------------------------------------- This year I teach Math 8 and Math Support at Juan Crespi Middle. After my teaching experience at high school, I am convinced that middle school students need a remarkable math education now to thrive in algebra, calculus, and beyond in college-level math courses. That is why many of my projects are for math investment lessons, student lead projects, or materials so that my student receive the intervention support they need.
