As a first year teacher, I do not have very many resources to pull from to create a classroom learning environment that doesn't rely on tacky bulletin boards and cheesy posters handed down from previous teachers. My hope is that, with your help, I will be able to decorate my classroom in beautiful, calm colors, which will not distract or overload my students. It may not seem like much, but creating a beautiful workspace for my students and I to work in is a priority for me, since we will be transitioning to in-person learning, and that in and of itself is quite overwhelming. By creating a calm and visually-beautiful learning environment, I will set up my students for a successful day of learning, just by having them walk through the door!
