These materials will help the students hear and see the words at the same time. These materials will improve their understanding of spoken word and by hearing the words it will allow my students to grasp sentence structure. Having a listening center in the classroom will allow for a different learning structure in my classroom. Students will have a chance to hear and see the words as they are being read in a different voice. We listen to story books on Youtube, but by having the book in hand they can follow along and talk about the book once the story is over. Also by having a group at the listening center it would allow me time to work with additional students who may be struggling and for those who just need one on one help.
