If funded, my students will be prepared for class. They will have the tools possible to complete lessons and achieve mastery in subjects using manipulatives. I want my children to enjoy coming to class and have a great first year of middle school. With giving them the proper materials that they need to learn, they should be able to "function" despite their label or given ability. These are basic supplies like markers, crayons, glue, folders, and notebooks, etc. Having these supplies will allow children to feel comfortable in a new setting, feel cared for and not have to feel embarrassed coming to class unprepared and having to disclose that they cannot afford their supplies.
