Students in our classroom often struggle to read at grade level due to their variety of learning disabilities. As one of the few classrooms in our school without regular access to technology, our students desperately desire new ways of accessing the general education curriculum. A great way to engage students with learning differences is through the use of technology. Accessible technology through the use of tablets can make reading and math strategies easier to understand and engage with as a student with a learning difference. I look forward to utilizing new teaching strategies to help my students become stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians!
