After a year of reading online I want to get books back in their hands. The focus of this year is project-based learning. To do this we need books that are relevant to their lives and their world. Students will use these works to make connections to their worlds and create larger products that will be showcased in the school as well as the surrounding community. Students will be able to form arguments and defend them by using evidence from the text as well as evidence from secondary sources. They will be able to communicate their ideas with their peers and form new and bigger ideas.
