Reading aloud to students of all ages has a huge impact on their reading lives and academic progress in every subject. We have set a goal to read one read-aloud picture book, everyday for one school year! To reach our goal we need help filling our library with interesting, middle school appropriate picture books and chapter books. These engaging books will help my students become avid and life long readers! These donations to our project will also help fund our reading corner with comfortable seating. Students enjoy reading everywhere in the classroom. I encourage students to seat anywhere that helps them get lost in their books! By providing more comfortable seating, students are able to experience the magical places of their books.
