My students have not all been in the classroom for the past year and half, and as their teacher I aspire to motivate them in every way possible! My mission is to bring color to our happy place with a color printer in our classroom. It's all about first impressions, even on paper. I know it may not seem like much to an adult but to my second graders it could make all the difference, academically and emotionally. Classroom incentives will help motivate my students to reach for their goals despite any obstacles they may face. Incentives such as toys, stress relievers, and candy are key for motivation to my students and as a teacher it is financially impossible to continue to do this on my own but my second graders deserve to be rewarded for all the hard work they accomplish. The mark that we make on the child today will determine our future thank you for making your mark on my second graders!
