My students need the opportunity to be flexible in their learning and make choices and decisions to help develop them into responsible, problem-solving citizens. The first step is being allowed to choose their seating options based on what works for them. Flexible seating allows my children to be able to be mobile in the wobble chairs and comfortable in the bean bag chairs or centered on the circle pillows or even choose traditional seats. Flexible seating will help them make decisions based on their personal needs and give them options to test what works for them. It will allow them to be successful through problem solving and letting them feel comfortable in their choice while working.
