My goal this year is to try and meet the needs of every learner so they can learn to their best ability. To do this I am allowing students to pick where they sit in the classroom. I have many options for the learners who don't need movement, but instead need comfort to learn. These wobble stools will allow the learners who need to move around to do so but still stay seated while we are working on an assignment. Every learner has their own individual needs that need to be met before they can learn anything in a classroom. For some learners that means they can't learn if their body is telling them to get up and move around. I'm hoping that by giving a learner a wobble stool, then they will be just as successful as the learners who are sitting on a floor cushion or in a traditional plastic chair.
