My students are busy little learners and love practicing math skills. In kindergarten, we work diligently to develop basic math skills, including learning parts of tens and how numbers relate to each other. Our little hands need lots of practice and opportunities to touch and feel our learning, which helps make it more concrete! Having hands on manipulatives for ten-frames will help students be able to develop a greater understanding of the material by providing an interactive visual to use. Students will use the ten-frames throughout the entire school year as we continue to build our math facts and fluency, and these materials will grow with their leaning. From partner work, small groups, whole class, and individual work, these tools will serve an important role in aiding students in their math content knowledge and understanding.
