Students will learn how to grow and maintain vegetables in a greenhouse, and release butterflies into the garden to help pollinate! These materials will allow students to appreciate how vegetables are grown, and the needs of others within the community. They will also learn how the environment is able to affect our fruits an vegetables on a daily basis. The monarch butterfly is an important pollinator in our region, therefore, the students will watch them grow from a caterpillar to a butterfly. They will learn about their life cycles, habitats, and how climate change is affecting their habitats and migration routes.
