I have been teaching Language Arts in the same urban district for seventeen years. The experience has been extremely rewarding. A year ago, I began my journey as a teacher for students identified as gifted and talented. The students perform above level in spite of the district challenges and limitations. I hold my Masters in Education and a Certificate of Supervision. Most recently, I completed a course through Rutgers University, earning my certification as a teacher of the Gifted and Talented. As I continue to grow, it is my responsibility to help my students do the same.
