Being able to provide my students with flexible seating will enhance their learning by helping them focus and be engaged in the material. The students in our classroom have various disabilities and unique needs that cause them to need more than the typical seating provided in most classrooms. Flexible seating gives students a chance to meet their sensory needs while learning. The bean bags will be placed in an area where the students can go to regulate their emotions when needed. The wobble cushions, balance ball and other flexible seating will be used to help the students succeed while engaging in functional academics and life skill lessons.
