We are a low socio-eco school with a mind to succeed. Several students are being raised by parents who have to work 2 or even 3 jobs to survive in our present economy. Some are trying to raise themselves along with younger siblings. On top of having less than perfect home lives, my students are struggling readers. In spite of all their many daily challenges, they come to school and give it their all.

About my class
