Each student in my class has an emotional disability. They struggle with decisions that appear easy for the average child. They don't know how to respond in a stressful situation or how to respond when feeling they are overcome with different emotions. That is what we are working on. Our classroom is located on a general education campus but we are a self-contained class. The children are bussed in from around the district to attend this class. Each child is unique and special. They have numerous behavioral difficulties due to their disabilities but when they accomplish something they have never done, the look on their faces is amazing.
