These new books will give students a chance to read independently at their own grade level, as well as provide a larger variety of books for student choice. Part of fostering a love for reading is investing in books that students enjoy reading, ones that are centered around topics that interest them. Funding this project will help enrich our students' relationship with books, as well as their love of reading. Many of the titles selected for this list, I chose carefully based on a reading interest inventory from earlier this year.
