These materials will give my third graders a concrete way to learn about and communicate their emotions. Coming back to school for a full day in-person is something they have not done since first grade and it's going to be emotional for everyone! I want my students to feel validated and supported in my classroom. I plan to use these emotion spots as a tool to discuss emotions and start the conversation around feelings. The stuffed animals will be available to students as a resource and the books will help with emotional vocabulary!
