I'm so fortunate to teach 2nd grade in an incredible, hard-working community in West Texas. My students are eager to learn and willing to work hard to excel. We are a Title I school so many of our students live in high poverty homes and receive free or reduced lunches. It is my personal goal to always make sure my students feel welcome, appreciated, and loved in my classroom as I know some of them do not come to me from the most loving and/or secure homes each day.

About my class
