All students learn in different ways. Being a special ed teacher means that I need to be able to accommodate many different types of learners. My students need to be able to sit comfortably on the floor as well as be able to move around in their seats. Wobble chairs, bean bags, and bouncy chairs will help my students release some of their energy while helping them maintain focus on their academic work. Although I have bought 4 bean bag chairs with my own money, I still need more bean bag chairs and other flexible seating in order to help my students access the curriculum more easily.
