I have a great group of third grade students who absolute enjoy being at school (most of them anyway). I know that I can safely say that I have watched them all become engrossed in a lesson. These attention grabbing lessons usually involve items that my students are allowed to touch and manipulate. I can't say enough about how using hands-on materials helps their learning.
