My students will use these book totes numerous times throughout every school day. Staying organized while they read at their own independent reading level will allow their literacy skills to take off! My school uses workshop model, which means students get to "book shop" for books at their own independent reading level, and it is essential that our classroom is organized to facilitate this process. These book totes will stay on the back of the students chairs throughout the day. Students will treat their book totes as their own "mini library" and it will give them a sense of pride and ownership to have their well deserved books at their desks. My students will use these folders for their writing work. These folders will contain their unfinished work, so that they are organized and know to finish their work the following day in writing class. Please help my students access supplies that they need in order to have a successful school year!
