The materials in the project will help reduce barriers to success that many of my students face. In my classroom, I will provide my students with school supplies such as lined paper, pens, pencils, and highlighters. Having these supplies available will prevent my students from missing instruction due to lack of supplies. Many of the materials in this project will help me deliver high-quality instruction to my students. I plan to use the post-it notes for frequent gallery walks, an activity that expose students to diverse text/media, and gives students the freedom to move around the classroom and interact with peers. I plan to use the chart paper in various ways. I will use it to create anchor charts with my students, so they can easily reference the material we have covered. I also plan to allow my students to use the chart paper on collaborative projects and presentations.
