My students are smart and energetic, they need a seat that is comfortable, different, and colorful. Regular school chairs are not comfortable and it keeps them out of their seat. Lots of time is spent redirecting the students back to their seats. New seating options will help my students embrace their seats, and have options to choose from. A stability ball will help them concentrate on their work better, but also strengthen their core. Floor seats will give them an option to sit low to the ground and relax their bodies, which will aide them in their learning. Flexible seating and a book shelf will have my students excited and eager to learn- all because of a new place to sit and a good book to reach easily!
