I plan to provide my students a place to store their personal belongings do that we can easily roll everything out of the way! As I begin my third year back in the general education classroom, I have noticed that we have a transition problem. The students need to move chairs for flexible grouping and project-based activities. We need to move quickly and quietly as we began our literature book studies and writing groups. Having a backpack cart will help alleviate the transition issue. The students can collaborate and have meaningful discussions and writing sessions without the distraction of backpacks.
