Each year it amazes me how much learning a 6 year old can achieve in one short and crucial year. I can truly say the students at this school work so hard day in and out and it's because of the amazing community of staff members, students, families and volunteers. My students deserve a beautiful environment to do their learning in. My students have had the same rug and furniture for close to 5 years. the rug is old, dirty and torn. I am asking for a whole group Nature Alphabet Block carpet and a Owl-phabet Tree library carpet so that my wonderful students can to complete community circles, daily writing conferences, read in comfort, discuss their projects and learn so much! To watch a child become a learner is what makes kindergarten a magical place. Watching the spark in their eyes when they learn something new and being able to provide them with the tools to dive deeper is a joy every day.
