I have 13 wonderful students with disabilities in my extended resource room. With 7th-9th graders, our classroom is an upbeat, active, and inclusive place to dive into learning. My students are spunky, caring, and love to root each other on. Junior high is a great time to explore who they are, how to navigate their community, and how to be a learner. In room 117, we are working towards self-advocacy and becoming lifelong learners. My goal is for all students to understand what their strengths are, how to get any help they need, and know that are capable of huge growth. Through individualized instruction and team work, I know these incredible kids will become successful citizens. Everyday, myself and my incredible 4 paraprofessionals work to provide quality instruction and sensory outlets. With your donations to my projects, my students can continue to explore their academics, community, and themselves.
