My students are fun-loving energetic 9th - 12th graders. For most of them math is a tough challenge they have to face every single day. They work hard to succeed. Many of them work in the evening to help provide for their families and struggle with getting their homework done on a daily basis. Whatever their struggles, when they are in my classroom they are focused on math and the new things that they can learn. Many are motivated to finish high school because they want to be the first in their family to do so or because they don't want to be the only one from their family to not finish high school.
