The markers, crayons, and colored pencils that I have selected will help my students continue to be creative and produce amazing work. The variety of paper will be a huge help when creating engaging activities and meaningful work. These students show up with a smile every day and they deserve the best materials. With all of their hard work throughout the day, they love to earn time at the end of the day to simply just play. When they are done trying to be a bucket filler, they love to pretend to be NBA stars. Their teamwork and dedication to cheering on their classmates makes you feel like you are center court at a game. Learning to work with others is something that we work on a lot in the classroom. Each day the students get an activity and then they need to figure out either how to build it and or how to work together to fulfill the task. That is why the blocks and STEM materials will help them learn how to work as a team and also will help them build many other skills. Each item in this cart will truly help them become whoever they want to be in this world, hence the superhero and dress up items. Giving any amount to these amazing students will help these students believe that kindness is still out there. These students have overcome obstacles, but will one day move mountains.
