My students are like little sponges, they absorb so much knowledge in just one day. Every day they come eager to learn and I am constantly getting asked "Ms. Kelly what are we doing next? Ms. Kelly what are we doing tomorrow?" They are your typical 5 and 6 year olds- happy, silly, energetic, wiggly and friendly. One unique thing about my school is the population has 90% or higher free and reduced lunch, which in Hillsborough county that is called being a renaissance school. My students face a lot of challenges when it comes to home life and my classrooms is their safe haven.
