These books will add high-quality, diverse and culturally relevant texts to our classroom library. This year I am pushing my students to read and review 50 new books- which would expand their knowledge and reading experience VASTLY. On our back classroom wall, we have a challenge board where students will write a review for each book they have read and visualize their progress as they make their way to 50 books. Adding to our library will allow my students to choose from books with students who look, think, and live as they do. Thank you for allowing me to help my students reach their reading goals, and grow every day!
