These books and games will be utilized in my social-emotional curriculum to teach students important coping skills, resiliency and social skills. I find the easiest way to engage my younger students is through a story and complete associated worksheets. I also want to provide a calm environment for the students with comfy chairs, an ambient noise machine and stress-relief fidgets and toys. Children learn best through play! I want to promote students' social-emotional learning through games, activities, art and fun! Over the years, I have created curriculum that involves these books and I would love to have my own set, rather than searching our school library or borrowing from colleagues. Lastly, when a student is feeling stressed or unable to focus, these various fidget toys truly assist students in being able to relax.
