My school is Title 1 school with about 64% of the students eligible for free or reduced lunch. I have Kindergarten through third grade students in my classroom. All my students are bright and do their best when they can. Regardless of their disability (autism to Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder to Various Mental Health Disorders to Learning Disabilities to Traumatic Brain Injury) they want to be their best possible selves and to have positive friendships. My students’ learning style varies; however, all my students stay engaged during a read aloud and can demonstrate comprehension of a new or reviewed social skills through art expression.

About my class
