My students enjoy looking at visuals on the walls of the science lab that they can connect to once they have learned something new. They enjoy pointing and saying, "Hey! We just learned about that!". The Cricut Maker will help me bring beautiful and education bulletin boards to life. It would give me the ability to be able to change them throughout the year since we learn about different topics over time. Currently, I have been hand cutting everything which is very time consuming and has been taking a very long time to be able to get bulletin boards up and running. In the lab, we also watch videos which I project on the board for the whole class to see. Unfortunately, I currently do not have a stand tall enough to help keep the projector up and the picture is too small on the screen. I have been propping it up on a couple of basins With the cart, I will be able to have a a place to safely prop up the projector as well as be able to be far enough in the room where the picture will be big and clear for all to see. The refrigerator is where the insects that are used throughout the year are stored. Insects hibernate in the cold so it allows me to order enough for all to have and use and be able to control when they are able to be used. When the insects are ready to be used, they are removed from the refrigerator and "thawed" for a few minutes until they begin to wiggle around again. Without the refrigerator, I risk having many of the insects die which would leave many of the students without the ability to experience working with the insects.
