These materials will aid in student wellness and engagement for a therapeutic atmosphere to foster positive mental/social-emotional health. All of the items chosen are to create an environment where students can make this office their "home away from home." One corner of the room will be a dedicated to meditation. While the remaining space will echo the environment to discuss pertinent topics affecting some of the 2200+ youth within WOHS. In the meeting area, there will be VARIED SIZES OF flexible seating such as bean bagchairs. Additionally, students will have space on a bookshelf for personal items and review therapeutic workbooks. Classroom decor are already in place and will fit the theme of a tranquil "home away from home". Items listed will foster a positive environment and assist in the approaches used to develop coping skills using the ACT Matrix and inspirational messages.
