At our school, more than 50% of students are Black, Latino, and/or Native American, and more than 50% come from low-income households. My students are curious, open-minded, inquisitive, tangible, and eager. Every personality makes every day worth coming to school because I know it will be a story or movie. I teach Title I students from different economical backgrounds, including Special Ed students and English language Learners. They are a fun group to teach every day and I just want them to enjoy middle school by finding ways to provide them with hands-on activities and games to make math, science & engineering more engaging.
