As a second year teacher, I want to begin the year with the supplies and environment to foster success in my students. Our school sends out a suggested list of supplies, but many of our students' families struggle to provide them. I believe all students deserve an equal chance to succeed, so many of the items will provide students with the basics to thrive on a daily basis. In addition, I found project-based assessments were a success with the students and want to have the materials so the students can create. I also have requested decor and organization supplies for my classroom to improve on my own processes. Finally, I would like to bring a warmer decor and some language-based games into my classroom because learning and learning environments should include fun. .
