I have just begun teaching in a first grade classroom. These students love to learn and by giving them a classroom with a clean area, the classroom carpet, to sit on means they can come find a space and be ready to hear about the day's lesson or listen as I read aloud. My heart is full each day coming to work with these children, some of which don't have coloring supplies at home. My hope is that by getting my project funded, I can get my classroom organized, provide an exciting and welcoming environment and get students tools and supplies so they can be successful and feel good about themselves and their learning. I look forward to using the printer to be able to print all the amazing online resources I have found on TeachersPayTeachers and can't wait to print pictures of the students in action learning to display in the classroom.
