This group of bright and eager students have an affinity for technology! Despite their interest in technology, resources are scarce for many--both in our classroom and in their homes. Nearly all of the students I serve live in poverty and simply do no have access to adequate, current technology in or outside of school. Any access to technology, particularly with their education, truly puts them at an advantage that they otherwise wouldn't have. iPads would give these students access a portable camera for documentation, internet to be used on field trips or outside during STEM activities, and so much more.
