  • Chromebooks for Coding in Science

    Funded Nov 30, 2018

My mission is to prepare students for future endeavors in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Computing by providing them with opportunities to build scientific inquiry skills and use technology to explore real-world problems. With your donation, students were able to engage in scientific inquiry by investigating topics of interest to their local communities. Thank you for all of your support in our efforts to learn coding!

This new technology attracts students by making science and computing relevant and dynamic. It prepares students for future endeavors in STEM and computing fields.

By introducing coding into everyday learning retains student interest by offering open ended challenges. This will also help assess how teachers' impacts how they think about and teach STEM and computing in the classrooms.

Donors Choose provided the opportunity to enhance existing partnerships for program sustainability by connecting with Project GUTS to utilize the technology and introduce coding into the classroom.”

  • Supplies For The 2016-2017 Year

    Funded May 18, 2016

When I saw the joy and feeling of excitement on my students face, when they open the donation; I was overwhelmed with appreciation. With school district budget cuts, important supplies such as pencils, sharpeners, and dry erase markers are becoming scarce commodities, with only very little supplies distributed to teachers over the course of a year. Your donation of laboratory goggles will allow me to provide the hand-on science experience that every student should have. This is something that would otherwise not be possible without your generosity. Thank you for being an important partner in public education. Your gifts have enabled me to continue to provide my students with crucial secondary resources while saving much time and money. You are truly the best!”

    With gratitude,

    Teacher Gray
